Fifteen miles into a 105 mile ride event, front rider mis-shifts down too many cogs on a climb, lost momentum, drastically dropped speed, and caused a collision forcing the POV rider to swerve into a ditch and fly over his handlebars causing a fractured rib and bruised knee. POV order finished the last 90 miles.
