Whilst riding in the Bike lane returning home from the coffee shop, a truck passed very close causing me to move off onto the gravel. As the vehicle passed it continued on and nearly off the road onto the gravel. The driver was either asleep or distracted, likely on the phone.
I reported this incident to the Australind Police in the afternoon giving them a copy of the video. They took the incident up with the driver and the company. They said later that there was probably not a good chance to completing a prosecution. However, they cautioned the driver and gave a copy of the incident to the tracking company. The company said they would take the incident up with the driver.
