Cycling along Millhouse lane Culcheth in March when I was close passed by an hgv.Video submitted to Cheshire police with warning letter given to the driver.

Having reviewed your footage I feel the most suitable outcome is to issue the registered keeper of the vehicle with a vulnerable road user warning letter which informs them of the nature of the incident and advice on vulnerable road users as given in the updated Highway Code.

The driver will be informed that an incident took place that was reported to the Police, receive some educational advice regarding driving around vulnerable road users and that a record of their vehicle having been involved in this is kept in case of any reoccurrence of similar driving.
