Class A CDL driver, I thought you were better!

The tanker continued his path and speed as he passed me very close. The driver only hit the brakes momentarily when he saw a Clearwater PD cruiser parked on the side street. As a tank driver in FL, the operator must have the highest class of Commercial Driver's License (CDL), class A. As such, he should be the pinnacle of commercial drivers. Clearly not!.
