With my lights on, both forward and aft, wearing high visibility yellow and cycling at ~22 mph I signal my intention to move from far right, into traffic to make a left hand turn at upcoming "T" intersection. A YRC Freight truck decides to cut me off from my intended left hand turn and comes within three feet of me. I signal again my intention to turn left, as truck is passing, and apply my horn --- I turn and look back to be sure the next vehicle is slowing to let me safely get into left hand lane, which they did.

According to California Vehicle Code 21202 (a)(2), a cyclist has a right to enter traffic to make a left hand turn.
