Travelling along at about 25 km/hr in a strip of bitumen to the left of the single lane (very much like a bike lane although not marked as such) when a large Ford twin cab ute coming from behind, tried to cut across in front of me to enter a service station.  There is no reason he shouldn't have seen me because I was wearing a bright yellow reflective vest and had two bright red flashing lights on the rear of the bike.  Anyway, I managed to speak to the driver shortly afterwards at the petrol bowser (all video and audio recorded of course).  Had he apologised I may not have taken the matter further however he basically said it was my fault and was flippant in his responses.  RESULT:  reported it to the police and later that evening he was given a Traffic Infringement Notice for $400 and accumulated 3 points.
